Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm Review.

Hey Everyone!  Lately I have had really dry lips and have been trying every lip balm I have in sight to help them, however nothing being successful.  Whilst shopping the other day I spotted this Burt's Bees lip balm with Beeswax (which is the best thing to heal dry lips), therefore I purchased it.  After using it for one day, yes one day, my lips were practically healed.  The lip balm contains coconut, sunflower and peppermint oil, it is also rich in vitamins and essential fatty acids to soften and condition your lips.  It is only £3.69 and for that price how can you say no.

You can buy the lip balm from the Burt's Bees website and your local Boots, also online.

Bobbi Brown Sample Review.

Hey Everyone!  Whilst restocking on my Bobbi Brown BB Cream, I received these two samples from the new Extra Bright Skincare range.  The two products I received were the Extra Bright Advanced Foaming Cleanser - £24.00 and the Extra Bright Advanced Moisture Lotion - £36.00

I have been using them for the past couple of days and even with just a few uses I've noticed my skin looks more radiant and glowing.  They are really simple to use just like any other cleanser/toner combination.  I wet my face and use just a little of the cleanser all over and it turns into a lovely foam consistency.  After taken it off with a warm cloth, I then use cotton wool and wipe the lotion all over just to get rid of any extra residue left on my face, Voila!  As much as I love these two samples I received I'm going to have to say I'll be sticking to my holy grail of Liz Earle, but you never know I may have a change in the future and purchase these items.

Wella Oil Reflections.

Wella Professionals Oil Reflection - £14.50

Whilst I was at the hairdresser getting my hair chopped the other day, I purchased this.  The hairdresser washed my hair and before cutting it she used this on it.  It's a new product out from Wella with Macadamia Oil, Avocado Oil and Vitamin E, to give your hair super shine.  Whenever someone introduces a new product to me I just have to buy it, I just can't help myself therefore I was sold.

How to use

You apply 1-2 pumps onto damp hair for smoothing or you can apply to dry hair for shine without rinsing out.  Either way your hair is left soft, smooth and shiny.

Schwarzkopf Volumizing Styling Powder Review.

If you read my blog you will know that I'm always looking for something to give my hair volume.  At the hairdressers about a year ago the hairdresser recommended to that I should try a volumizing powder, so I did.  However this isn't the first one that I have tried, and to be honest after using a powder before I was pretty unsure whether to purchase this one, but I'm so glad I did and for £2.50 it's a bargain.  I tried it on my hair today and it gave it so much body along with plenty bounce.

How To Use

You use this product by shaking some of the powder onto you palms and rubbing it together.  The powder will disappear, however you will still feel a sticky residue on your hands (I'm not really sure how to describe it).  You then distribute it onto dry hair and voila you have big volumised hair.

It says as a tip on the tub/tube that for extra volume you should shake the powder directly onto your roots, I myself would not recommend doing this.  You are left with your hair feeling like it is in a sticky clump at the top of your head.

Overall I would recommend this product as if you use as directed you are left with bouncy hair.

*I'm so sorry about the quality of my photos lately, I'm using my phone and really need to charge my camera sometime soon!

I've Had a Hair Cut.

Hey Everyone! So yesterday I took the plunge, went to the hairdresser and got about half of my hair chopped off.  You know that feeling when you just want a change but are unsure whether to take the risk or not.  My hair was getting to the stage where the ends would just stick out and was genuinely just there sitting on my head doing nothing.

When I saw this picture of Kimberley Walsh, I knew I wanted a style like this.  However in the past when I had my hair cut this length, it would just stick out at the bottom as it was sitting on my shoulders (Oh the joys of having poker straight hair)..

I'm so glad I didn't get it too short and it's safe to say I love my new style.  As it is shorter it seems to have given my hair more bounce and volume, which is a great thing considering that's all I ever want out of my hair.  Overally I am a happy customer!

Primark Purchases.

Hey Everyone! Yesterday I had a quick trip to Primark, and I thought I would show you what I purchased.  The first item I purchased was a sheer white shirt with short sleeves, it has letters of the alphabet printed all over it and was £12 (I thought it was pretty cute).

Secondly whilst having a look through the never ending amount of shoes Primark stock I noticed these peep toe style pumps with gold studs.  In the colours black, turquoise and pink, I just couldn't resist.  These were £6 each and will be perfect for summer.. (well if we get sun in Scotland this year).
